West Midlands Regional Food Academy at Harper Adams University College recieved the acolade of Project of the Year at the 2010 RICS Awards West Midlands having also won in its regeneration category. It now progresses to the national finals.

HRH The Princess Royal opens the West Midlands Regional Food Academy. Designed by Michael Hyde and Associates to be a centre of technical excellence.
The purpose of the West Midlands Regional Food Academy is to energise interaction between the region's food industry and higher and further education institutions and centres of technical expertise, as well as raising the profile of the West Midlands region's food industry. “The creation of the WMRFA reinforces and develops the University College's role as the UK's leading institution specialising in food from 'farm to fork'."

Altrincham Grammar School for Boys new sports facilities building won the Community Benefit Category of the RICS North West Awards.
These awards, often called the "Oscars" of the building industry, are designed to celebrate the most inspirational initiatives and developments in property, construction and the environment. This is the second RICS Award for the practice. It won the National RICS Community Benefit Award in 2004 for its design of the Bolton Lads & Girls Club.
