MHA helps students build their skills for the future

Chris Yorke and Hilary Garrett visited Sheffield Park Academy to talk to 30 first year A level students on their career pathways.  The visit was part of the Building My Skills programme co-ordinated by ESH Developments.  Winner of the 2015 BITC National Schools Partnership Award, the programme brings together business and schools across the north of England to provide a structured, free career advice programme to almost 12,000 young people in 84 schools.

Building my Skills gives young people invaluable understanding about the world of work directly from employers, through timetabled careers sessions delivered by businesses. Students benefit from mock interviews, work experience and apprenticeship opportunities.
