Client: Sir Robert McAlpine/Express Printers M/C.
One of the SRB 1 projects in the regeneration strategy for the
inner city of East Manchester (Miles Platting, Ancoats and Northern
Quarter). High profile catalyst project involving the conversion
and refurbishment of a Grade II listed newspaper production building
to provide 7,000 sqm of office accommodation plus new multi-storey
car park. £6.75 million. Civic Trust Commendation 1996.
St Helena Mill, Bolton:
Client: Greater Manchester Probation Service
Conversion and extension of a derelictand fire damaged Grade II
listed industrial mill building to provide 1,140 spm gross office
accommodation. Project completed.
