the former Mather & Platt Engineering Works at Newton Heath.
Express Building, Manchester: 
One of the SRB 1 projects in the
regeneration strategy for the inner city of East Manchester (Miles Platting,
Ancoats and Northern Quarter). High profile catalyst project involving
the conversion and refurbishment of a Grade II listed newspaper production
building to provide 7,000 sqm of office accommodation plus new multi-storey
car park. £6.75 million. Civic Trust Commendation 1996.
Harpurhey District Centre, Manchester:
New walk/pay petrol filling station
for ASDA and McDonalds Drive-thru restaurant. Special design solutions
to solve urban problems within the parameters of the city development framework.
New access and entrance arrangements together with the refurbishment
of existing flats and shops.
Monsall Renewal Area, Manchester:
Mixed use development to provide new shop units
to relocate existing city council tenants, replacement offices and a
Doctors' Surgery together with 14 self-contained flats, six of which are
located over the shops.
Employment Service, Hulme:
First commercial development within the
contextual setting of the Hulme Regeneration area. Involved collaborative
working to produce a successful development that embodies commercial criteria
together with the aspirations and principles of the Hulme Development
design guide.
Ladywell Falts, Salford:
Refurbishment and modernisation of 300 flats for sale and rent for
Wimpey Homes Holdings.
