We are MHA Architects

MHA Architects were appointed by De Vere to undertake a £13m restoration and extension of Oulton Hall.

Oulton Hall is a Georgian Grade II listed building originally built in 1851 and designed by the architect Sydney Smirke to replace an earlier house which was destroyed in a fire.

The project brief was to create a 150 bedroom 4-star hotel with associated leisure facilities. The new facilities included: leisure/exercise pool with children’s section and jacuzzi; steam, sauna, solaria, wet change, dry change, 2 squash courts, gymnasium, beauty salon, twin table snooker room, reception, lounge bar, kitchen and restaurant.
