MHA were appointed by SP+ Consortium to completely transform the Pendleton area by bringing together a community whose homes and outside spaces desperately needed a makeover.
The masterplan included for over 1500 new houses to be built, 1250 existing homes given a makeover and some properties demolished. Other ingredients included new parks and open spaces, sports pitches, new streets and footpaths along with a city farm.
We were able to deliver on the PFI’s vision and aims to reinvigorate ‘old’ Pendleton and achieve a sustainable Pendleton community, empower local residents with fresh new confidence for the future and create quality Pendleton homes for all.
